SugarCRM connector available (release candidate)

The users of SugarCRM can extend the functionality of their CRM software with professional email marketing. Especially for this purpose, an open source connector is now available for the connection to the email marketing software OpenEMM.

The open source connector synchronizes the CRM software SugarCRM with the email marketing software OpenEMM, so that the user can now combine both open source programs in a single joint platform, that provides all necessary data instantly and automatically to both programs.

Customer data and email campaigns, which got set up and administrated in SugarCRM, also appear automatically in the OpenEMM, where the user can send the emails and evaluate the campaign professionally.

Vice versa all changes of the customer’s profile will be evaluated by OpenEMM and brought back to SugarCRM immediately. So, interactions of the customers with the received email, like opening the mail and link clicks, are reported to SugarCRM. The administrator of the software himself can define which fields will be synchronized between SugarCRM and OpenEMM.

The connector for SugarCRM and OpenEMM was developed by go-mobile IT GmbH in Vienna. This company is well-known for the SugarCRM extentions ZuckerReports and ZuckerDocs.
