Dear,

I am using OpenEMM 5.0.3. Have added one field using Settings>edit profile fields>New field>Field name:birth_date, Fieldname in DB:birth_date, Type:date. The problem is the format show on Recipient>Overview>Edit is DD MM YYYY, but while saving. It will be 00-00-0000 in DB. But, if I input in format YYYY MM DD. It appear correct in DB. Any solution to this ? Please help.

Best Regards,
Sam Ng.

I can confirm this problem. The date used on the recipient profil is in the format DDMMYYYY, thus making it impossible to use the Target Groups function to send date based messages.

Is there a way to change the date format in the systsm so that the functionality will work?

We could reproduce the problem! A bug report will be posted in the SourceForge bugtracker (and a "hack" solution in case we find a quick fix).
